Black Builders Plastic is a 200um Heavy Standard Grade Poly with an IR2 Rating primarily used in the domestic building industry as a concrete or gravel underlay or where an impervious barrier is required. It can also be used as a drop sheet or temporary weather protection during building. The Heavy IR2 Plastic is stronger then Budget/Light 100um Builders Plastic (often found at hardware stores) and handles more foot traffic and is more rip resistant. The IR2 Builders Plastic is NOT UV Stabilised and will last approx. 3 – 4 months in full sunlight, or longer if it is covered.
